About

MUTV was founded in the late 1990s by the Missouri Students Association, the student government organization on the Mizzou campus.

By 2001, the station became a tool for students to gain real life journalism experience before entering Missouri’s journalism or communication schools. MUTV took its place on campus as a student-run media outlet.

In addition to MUTV’s original programming, MUTV works in junction with MU Residential Life and plays movies and television shows that the students get to choose. MUTV also provides free on-demand streaming of movies and show content when on-campus through http://mutvstream.missouri.edu

We encourage anyone with a strong work ethic, an interest in television, and a drive to have a successful future to join us. To find out more about how you can get involved no matter what your major is, please feel free to contact us at mutv@missouri.edu with any questions that you may have.

MUTV is your campus station!
