The win looked good for the Falcons going into the fourth quarter with a 26-10 lead over the Bears, but that did not last long. Even though Brian Hill and Todd Gurley ran for a touchdown each and Matt Ryan hit Hayden Hurst with a short touchdown pass that helped the Falcons to their semi-comfortable lead. The Bears managed to make an epic comeback thanks to quarterback Nick Foles throwing three touchdown passes in the fourth results in another win for the bears. Moving quickly, Foles threw to Jimmy Graham for three yards making the score 26-16 with six minutes and 20 seconds left in the fourth, then Allen Robinson for 37 yards, and Anthony Miller for 28 yards put the Bears on top. Tashaun Gipson Sr. sealed the win for the Bears intercepting Ryan’s pass with 1:07 remaining in the fourth. Foles went 16 for 29 with 188 yards total. After two back-to-back losses and the 2016 Super Bowl loss to New England, people have started to question Dan Quinn and his job.

This win puts the Bears record at 3-0, which is the first 3-0 start Chicago has had since 2013. It also puts them in the record books for the first team to win two games going into the 4th quarter being down 16 or more points. The Bears take on the Colts next Sunday, Oct. 4th in Chicago and the Falcons take on the Packers Sunday, Oct. 5th in Green Bay.
