The Kansas City Chiefs took on the Buffalo Bills Monday, Oct. 19th during week six of the NFL season. Both teams came in as top AFC contenders, and both teams having a 4-1 record on the season.

Each team started out slow, but ultimately the Chiefs offense ended up dominating the Bills and the Bills defense just couldn’t keep up. The Bills ended up giving up 245 rushing yards to the Chiefs offense. The Bills quarterback, Josh Allen, did put up a good fight keeping the Bills within two scores the whole game, but after a missed field goal and punting four times it was hard for the Bills to come back against the Chiefs dominant offense, which ended up sealing the game for them.

The Chiefs only trailed the Bills for the first couple minutes of the game thanks to rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire who had one of his best games yet. Edwards-Helaire carried the Chiefs offensively along with Patrick Mahomes who only threw five incompletions and two interceptions. Although Mahomes did not have his typical 300 yard passing game, he did hit the passes and the runs where it was needed most for Kansas City.

The Chiefs came away winning the game 26-17 taking home a road victory back with them. This put the Chiefs 5-1 on the season and the Bilsl 4-2 on the season. The Chiefs take on the Broncos next Sunday, Oct, 25th in Denver, while the Bills take on the Jets next Sunday as well at Metlife Stadium.
