Last night the now 9-1 Kansas City Chiefs took on the 6-4 Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. These two teams met earlier this year at Arrowhead Stadium where the Raiders walked out with the win, but not this time around.

Starting off the game the Raiders struck first putting the Chiefs down in the early minutes of the game but that didn’t stop the Chiefs from marching down and scoring making the score even at 7-7 each. The game remained close throughout the rest of quarters.

In the final minutes of the fourth quarter Derek Carr finds tight end Jason Witten for a one yard touchdown pass putting the Raiders up 31-28 with 1:43 on the clock, too much time for Mahomes.

The Chiefs come ready to fire in the closing minutes of the game with Mahomes leading a seven-play, 75-yard touchdown drive, and six completed passes. The final game ending play was Mahomes finding Travis Kelce with a 22-yard pass in the middle of the end zone with 28 seconds remaining.

Mahomes finished the game going 34-for-45 passing for 348 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has a game high with 11 catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. Kelce also had a game high with 127 yards receiving and eight catches. The Chiefs (9-1)  move up three games on the Raider  (6-4) in the AFC West. Next week the Chiefs travel to Tampa to take on Tom Brady and the Buccaneers and the Raiders head out to Atlanta to take on the Falcons.
