COLUMBIA – Although the Tigers lost to the South Carolina Gamecocks in double overtime, Nick Droege and Theresa Mullineaux left the game as winners.

Past king and queen Xavier Billingsley and Morgan Adrian returned to MU to pass on the crown. The ceremony took place on Faurot Field during halftime of the homecoming game on Oct. 26.

The new king, Nick Droege was sponsored by Pi Kappa Alpha and is the current MSA President.

In a video on Mizzou Homecoming’s Youtube channel, he describes that his two favorite things about homecoming is the blood drive and the campus decorations.

“I know how much hard work Greek chapters put into homecoming and it’s one of the nights that the Columbia community can come and enjoy all of that work and appreciate all of the different things that Greek chapters have done throughout homecoming,” Droege said about campus decorations.

The homecoming queen is Theresa Mullineaux who was sponsored by Alternative Spring Break and is a Kappa Delta.

Mullineaux’s favorite memory as a Tiger was when MU played Oklahoma.

“Experiencing college game day and seeing Mizzou upset a num. 1 team is something that I will never forget,” Mullineaux said.
