After dominating Savannah State 7-0 in the morning on Friday, the Tigers kept their momentum and shutout streak rolling, blanking Mercer 4-0 Friday night. Missouri has now won three straight matches since its crushing loss to Wichita State that blemished its previous undefeated record.

Although Bea Machado Santos and Kelly Hine fell in doubles, Brianna Lashway and Cassidy Spearman got the things going for the Tigers as they rolled over Xandra Fougner and Haley Powell 6-1.

The wins by Lashway’s kept on rolling, as it was Brianna’s sister Brittany who won her doubles match with Clare Raley, 6-4, which gave two of the three doubles matches to the Tigers.

Although three of the six singles matches went unfinished, the Tigers finished off every match they were able to, going 3-0 in singles play with wins by Kelly Hine and the two Lashway sisters

The Tigers will look to keep their dominance going Sunday as they travel to Greenville, South Carolina, to take on Furman.
