Neither team scored in the fourth inning, but in the top of the fourth, Brooke Wilmes homered to right field for the Tigers, followed by the Lightning tacking on two more runs in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI single and an RBI double from Nahri Tath-Slezak and Lexi Cushing. To seal the deal, in the top of the seventh inning Cayla Kessinger crushed a two RBI homer to right center to put the score at 6-3 and solidify the Tigers’ victory.
