On Sunday the Mizzou Men’s Golf Team ended its fourth tournament of the season, Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate, placing 11th among 15 teams along with two men recording top-30 finishes.
Over the course of three days the Tiger’s shot 291, 281 and 288 finishing with a team total of 860, comparable to four under par.
A strong performance from Senior Rory Franssen tied him for 10th in the tournament. He led Mizzou with a 3-day score of 209 (7-under). The high point of Franssen’s weekend was on Saturday when he carded five birdies and one bogey shooting 4-under 68.
Freshman Ross Steelman came off of his first career individual title at the Prairie Club Invitational with another strong performance in Jonesborough, Tenn. Steelman climbed to the top of the leaderboard on Saturday having six birdies carding him a 67 (5-under) and tied him for 15th moving into the final day. On Sunday a 1-over 73 scored him an overall 212 (4-under) for the weekend leaving him tied for 24th.
Junior Jack Parker tied for 47th with a 2-over 218. Parker shot consistently this weekend with rounds of 73, 73, and 72 earning him his second best 3-day score of the season.

Freshman Viktor Einarsson’s best round came on Sunday when he had four birdies and shot 73 (1-over). Viktor tied for 71st with a 10-over 226.

Senior Ricky Sanders tied for 76th with a 7-over 228.
The Tigers will take the course again on Oct. 28-30 in Oahu, Hawaii at the Hoakalei Country Club Collegiate Invitational.
