Missouri Golf Finishes Seventh at Bulls Bay Tournament

In the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate golf tournament in Awendaw, S.C., it was the Mizzou men’s golf team taking home seventh place out of 18 teams. The
winner of the tournament was fellow SEC foe Auburn.

The top golfer of the day for Missouri was Euan Walker. Walker shot a two-under par (-2), which resulted in him finishing in eleventh place.

Helping out Walker was Ryan Zech, who shot even during the three-day tournament, giving him a tied for 18th place. The finish gives him his fourth top-20 finish of the season.

Emilo Cuartero shot two over par (+2), finishing tied for 23rd. The best round on Tuesday belonged to Hunter Kraus as he shot a 70 en route to finishing the tournament with six over par (+6). Finally, Wilson Sundvold finished out the Tigers scoring with a ten over par (+10) over three days.

As for the team score overall, the guys shot six over par (+6), putting them just two shots behind the sixth-place Kentucky Wildcats and only three shots behind the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

After a nice showing at Bulls Bay, the Tigers will next compete in Columbus, Ohio, in the Robert Kepler Invitational on April 12-13.
