The Tigers were fresh off a win in their first match of their double header Friday, the 21st ranked Missouri Tiger Volleyball team sought to earn the same result against the University of Northern Illinois in their second match of the weekend. The Tigers took the first set 25-22 to then drop the second set in a close 22-25 loss. The Tigers, led by Kylie Deberg, then won the two following sets to give them the match win. Deberg had 18 kills in the match with the help of setter Andrea Fuentes, who delivered 40 assists on the night. Tyanna Omazic made a strong showing on the frontlines, earning six total blocks and 11 kills.

The Tigers are hoping to continue their six-game win streak and undefeated season Sunday, Sept. 15 against Boise State. Their first conference game is at home on Sunday Sept. 29 against No. 15 Kentucky, who are currently 6-3 on the season
