For the Missouri men’s and women’s swim and dive team, the season-ending Tiger Invite was a successful one. Their combined efforts resulted in them winning several key events during the two-day meet.

Junior Michael Chadwick boosted three first place wins during the meet. Freshman Kylie Dahlgren, junior Nick Davis, sophomore Sharli Brady, junior Carter Griffin and redshirt senior Matthew Margritier all had two wins during the tournament.

Other notable successes occurred on Friday night, with junior Ellie Suek and Junior Michael Chadwick coming away with season records and wins in the 200 IM. Margritier had a victory in the 50 free with a time of 19.90. Senior Anna Patterson was also successful in freestyle, coming away with a win and a time of 22.84.

To conclude a successful Friday night, Brady and Griffin came away with victories in the 500 free.

Saturday morning started strong with wins for Chadwick and freshman Illiana Jones in the 100 breaststroke. Griffin came away with a season personal record in the 200 back with a time of 1:43.41. This was Griffin’s second win of the tournament.

Junior Andrew Sansoucie came away with a win the 100 fly with an impressive time of 47.45. Chadwick and Margritier continued their strong individual performances with wins in the 100 back and the 100 free.

The tournament boosted a significant number of personal records and countless individual wins.
