With a  3-1 victory over Sacramento State earlier in the day, Mizzou Volleyball [3-3] completed their doubleheader Friday night in the Boise State Invitational, in the Bronco Gym against No. 10 BYU[5-0]. They lost in four sets (25-13,25-21,25-21,25-16).

The Tigers started off with a dismal first set, mustering just 13 points and not putting any pressure on BYU. Missouri refused to roll over, however, and they were able to roar back and take back the the second set 25-21 and even up the match. Unfortunately for Mizzou, BYU was too much to handle on the evening and they took the third set by a score of 25-21. Missouri failed to continue the win-loss pattern, and were eventualy defeated in the fourth set by a score of 25-16.

The night cap of the double header did however feature some great individual performances for the Tigers. The top performer for the match was Alyssa Munlyn, who had a career-high 13 blocks. Those 13 blocks match the school single game record. She also added 4 kills in the match.

Some other notable performers include Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana with 8 block and a career-high 13 kills. Kira Larson added 7 kills, 8 digs, 4 total blocks. Riley Sents also had 13 digs.

The next game for Mizzou in the Boise State Invitational is against host team Boise State. It takes place Saturday at 8:30 p.m. CT at Bronco Gym.
