The Missouri Tigers women’s golf team attempted to put all the pieces together after a disappointing performance at the Jim West Challenge when they competed at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, as the second round of the tournament was canceled due to rain. The Tigers finished up their fall season in ninth place out of 19 teams by shooting a 4-under-par 572 over the course of the shortened tournament. Pacing the Missouri team was freshman Jessica Yuen of Bolingbrook, Illinois. Her two rounds of 70 and 69 gave her a collective score of 5-under-par for the tournament and placed her in a tie for 10th place. This was her second top-10 finish of the fall season.

Sophomore Emma Allen of Southampton, England, was the only other member of the team who shot under par. She had rounds of 73 and 70 to shoot a 1-under-par, placing her in a tie for 36th place.

Overall, Baylor took the team title with a score of 25-under-par, followed by UNLV and Idaho. Missouri will take the winter months off before returning to action at the Florida State Match-Up beginning on Friday, Feb. 10.
