This weekend in Lexington, Ky. Missouri drivers competed in the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships. Junior Sarah Rousseau earned her first invitation on the platform while sophomore Savana Trueb received her second career invitation and competed for both on the platform and the 1-meter.

Rousseau and Trueb are not the only tigers who will compete in the NCAA Championships. After the 1-meter on Saturday, Missouri’s sophomore Carlo Lopez has the opportunity to dive 1-meter, 3-meter, and platform. On Friday, freshman Takuto Endo acquired his bid on the platform and will be the fourth Tiger that will head to the NCAA Championship. 

In Zones this weekend Savana Trueb placed sixth after scoring  253.3 in prelims and 281.2 in the finals to make her total score 534.5. Teammate Sarah Rousseau began with 241.9 in prelims, 279.6 for the final, thus a total score of 521.5, and placed ninth overall. 

As for the men Carlo Lopez placed 10th with a total of 615.25 and Takuto Endo placed 20th overall. 

The NCAA Championships will be held in Greensboro, N.C. for three days starting on Thursday, March 18.
