Mizzou Football takes on Arkansas in Battle Line Rivalry

The Missouri Tigers wrap up their season on Friday, taking on the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Battle Line game as a part of Rivalry Weekend. The Tigers look to close out their season on a six game win streak and finish two games above .500 before heading to their first bowl game since 2014. The Tigers will be led by quarterback Drew Lock, who looks to finish off his junior campaign in historic fashion, only three touchdown passes away from the all time SEC record of 41 in one season. Drew Lock can easily have an explosive game against the Razorbacks, who’s pass defense has allowed about 60% completions, and more than 200 yards in the air per game.  Missouri’s run defense has also been much better than the beginning of the season, they held Vanderbilt to only 50 yards on 29 carries in their last game, and they will be facing off against a below average running team.

The Tigers got off to their slowest start since the mid 90’s, but now with the recent emergence of a balanced offense with a strong run game spearheaded by both Larrry Rountree the Third and Ish Witter, and an air raid offense lead by Lock and wide receiver Emanuel Hall Mizzou looks to finish with a win against their biggest SEC rival.
