Last Friday, the No. 20 Missouri Tigers hit the mats at the Hearnes Center to take on the No. 12 Kenucky Wildcats.
The Tigers came out the gate ready to compete starting out on vault averaging 48.500, but the Wildcats were right behind them with 48.900.

Next, the Tigers headed to the bars where sophomore Sienna Schreiber dominated, earning a 9.825 to tie for the event crown. Junior Alisa Sheremeta followed with a close second of 9.800.

Schreiber came back again on beam with an excellent performance scoring a 9.875 keeping the Tigers neck-and-neck with the Wildcats.

Mizzou put up second-highest score of their beginning season, 195.350. Unfortunately, the Tigers took a loss to the Kentucky, 195.775-195.350. The Tigers were also still missing sophomore Helen Hu who is still out with an injury as well, hoping for a full recovery.

The Tigers’ next match is Friday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. against the Florida Gators.
