Mizzou Pharamacy Opens in Student Center

September 30, 2012

The Mizzou Pharmacy opened its doors for the first time on September 17th on the first floor at the MU Student Center, near the Mizzou Market. Operated by University Hospital, the new pharmacy will act as a newer and faster way for students to pick up both prescription and over the counter medicines. Wether students may get that upcoming cold during the winter, some ibuprofen to fix that headache while studying for your next exam, and any other minor sickness that may pop up, the Mizzou Pharmacy has you covered. The pharmacy is striving to be the on-campus alternative to other pharmacies in the community, which is convenient for students without any means of transportation.
The pharmacy also will allow students to transfer their prescriptions from other pharmacies across the country, which makes things easier for students far away from home. The pharmacy is not all about medicine either, it carries various medicated shampoos, hair coloring products, soaps of all kinds, hand sanitizer, lotions, and much more. Finally, to add more convenience for the pharmacy, they accept student charge, along with cash or credit.
The pharmacy is open from 9-5:30 on Mondays through Fridays, 12-4 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays.
