Mizzou’s swimming and diving teams came out on top of the TCU horned frogs after winning 30 events on Friday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center. The Tigers men’s team outscored the Horned Frogs 183.5-113.5 for the win, and Mizzou’s female team conquered the TCU women in a striking 193-100 victory.

Ten Mizzou swimmers won multiple events. For the men, sophomore Ben Patton earned three wins in the meet. He won the 100 back with a time of 48.65 seconds, 100 free timed respectively at 44.45, and the 200 IM clocking in at 1:47.94. On the women’s side, junior Megan Keil also finished the meet with three individual wins. Her wins included the 50 free with a time of 22.18, 100 free, and a tie with Meredith Rees for the 100 fly.

In addition to the strong performance by the swimming team, the Tigers diving team swept TCU in all four events. Mizzou sophomore Carlo Lopez dominated the springboard, posting scores of 314.93 on the 1-meter and 352.73 on the 3-meter. Sarah Rousseau also swept the springboard for the women. Rousseau’s final scores were 284.10 on the 1-meter and 302.78 on the 3-meter.
