The Missouri Tigers continued to dominate this spring season as they picked up a 7-0 road win over the Savannah State Tigers early Friday morning. The non-conference win puts Mizzou at 9-1 this season.

Coming off a win against BYU last Friday, Mizzou came out swinging taking the doubles point with two 6-0 wins. The pair of Sophomore Brianna Lashway and Junior Cassidy Spearman took the first win at the No. 2 spot, while Junior Brittany Lashway and Sophmore Clare Raley won at the No. 3 spot.

The Missouri Tigers’ momentum never stopped after they took the doubles point as they took all six singles matches in two sets. Senior Kelli Hine had the closest contested matchup of the day at the No. 2 spot taking the match over Savannah State’s Elizabeth Geronimo 6-3 7-5.

A new addition to the team, junior walk-on Kadi Fauble played her first match as a Tiger defeating Tiffany Williams 6-1 6-0.

The Tigers will continue their four game road trip as they played again at 4 against Mercer.
