At the Hearnes Center on Sunday afternoon the Mizzou Volleyball team concluded a perfect weekend in Southeastern Conference play with a three-set victory (25-19, 27-25, 25-18) over Mississippi State.
The Tigers have won four consecutive matches in the SEC improving their record to 14-4 overall, 6-2 in conference and 8-2 in non-conference.

Mizzou finished with 56 kills on .415 hitting Sunday. Their offense hit .400-plus for the second time in its last three outings. This straight-set victory marked the Tigers’ ninth all-time sweep over the Bulldogs and improved Mizzou to 13-0 all-time against Mississippi State.

In Mizzou’s two-match weekend against the Razorbacks and the Bulldogs the Tigers recorded a combined 102 kills on .380 hitting with all five of their primary attackers posting .350-plus hitting percentages.

This weekend’s top performers include Andrea Fuentes with 51 assists, 1 ace. Leketor Member-Mench with 13 kills on .765 hitting, 1 ace. Tyanna Omazic with 12 kills on .444 hitting, 3 total blocks. Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana with 10 kills on .438 hitting, 4 digs. Kayla Caffey with 7 kills on .500 hitting, and Riley Sents with 12 digs.
