COLUMBIA – The 31st Alcohol Responsibility Month Awareness Fair was held on Oct. 1 in Stotler Lounge in Memorial Union.

The purpose of the fair was to raise awareness about the importance of responsible drinking.

Some organizations represented at the fair included Greeks Advocating the Mature Management of Alcohol and STRIPES. Students were encouraged to visit several of the booths in order to get a free shirt and a slice of pizza.

The fair kicks off a month of activities centered on alcohol awareness. On Oct. 4, there will be a midnight walk at Stankowski Field. Adam LoDolc visits Jesse Auditorium on Oct. 14 to instruct ways to have fun at parties, while remaining safe.

All activities are orchestrated by the Wellness Resource Center and designated to create a safe environment for MU’s students.
