The Tigers men’s basketball team gives the Crimson Tide their first SEC loss by a score of 68-65 after Mitchell Smith stops a potential comeback with a block with four seconds left. This was the third win this season against a AP top ten team, a feat that hasn’t happened since the 2011-12 season.

Senior Dru Smith led the Tigers with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Mark Smith was great on both ends of the floor with 12 points and 5 steals. Kobe brown grabbed nine rebounds.

As a team, they were great in the paint, with 24 points under the basket 12:19 into the game. However, if there was one thing they could improve, it would be their 3 point shots. They were 3 for 20 beyond the arc.

The No. 18 Tigers improve to 13-3, the best start since the 2013-14 season. They will go on the road to take on the Ole Miss Rebels on Wednesday at 8 PM on the SEC Network.
