That’s right, saggy pants and all, the Biebs is trying to get his life back together.

The 20 year old pop sensation decided to speak out about his behavior over the past couple of years during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this February. Justin realized that recently his moral path has been shaky, but he is not ready to let that define him. The “Baby” singer is ready to set things straight, and be the clean-cut kid we know he is deep down.

“I did a lot of things over the past few years that I’m not proud of,” Justin told Ellen on the show.

From being put in jail for drunk driving and resisting arrest in January 2014 to pretty much never wearing a shirt in public, Justin has definitely had some less than respectable moments lately. But, these hiccups are not keeping the heartthrob from announcing that he is indeed human, and from now forward he will be riding the high road.

“I’m passionate about things and I’m passionate about being better and growing, so I think that this is going to be an awesome chapter in my life and I’m so glad that I have you guys supporting me,” Bieber said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

He came on the show to talk about the intimate confession video that was released via Facebook, posted to give explanation for his past few years. In the touching video, Justin tells how nervous he was to be appearing on “Ellen” after not having had a public appearance in quite some time, and feeling heavily judged for his past. Justin hopes he can prove himself to society again, pleading that how he has acted has been due to pressure of growing up in the spotlight and pretending to be something that he is not.

A few MU students gave their opinion in a poll asking whether or not Justin will be able to get back on track. And from the ten asked, eight Tigers believe in Bieber’s ability to bounce back!

“Anyone can turn it around!” freshman Emily Novak commented.

Hopefully Justin doesn’t let down the many optimists, rooting in his favor for a rebound.

To ring in 2015, Justin released his Calvin Klein underwear campaign alongside Lara Stone, which generated a lot of chatter on the internet. The ad surpassed Kim Kardashian’s attempt to “Break the Internet” by fives times the amount of Twitter mentions.

With all this publicity, some of it not so good, we hope Justin can continue working hard to better himself, better his career, and remind the world why we fell in love with that baby face in the first place.
