The Missouri Tigers tennis team took part in a double match at home on Saturday and were able to bring home wins in both, defeating Tulane 4-1 and South Dakota State 5-0. All of this was done without one of their top players in Serena Nash. The team is now 8-1 on the season and has yet to lose a match at home.

Against Tulane the Tigers grabbed their 8th consecutive point. The pairings of Amina Ismail and Marta Oliveira as well as Mackenzy Middlebrooks and Ellie Wright took their games 6-1 and 6-4 respectively. When singles came around Mizzou shut Tulane down for the day, earning 3 more points with more wins by Ismail and Wright, and the first of the day for Clare Raley.

In the second match of the day against South Dakota State the Tigers could do no wrong. Ismail and Gruber won a doubles game, and Middlebrooks and Wright claimed Mizzou their 9th consecutive point in the doubles matches with a 6-0 victory. Wright, Gruber, Raley, and Middlebush all had convincing victories in the single games. Mackenzy Middlebrooks is making a habit of having perfect matches. She did it last week and she did it again against South Dakota.

Mizzou will welcome Minnesota to town on Friday, and will stay home on Sunday when Memphis rolls into town, as they try to hold on to their perfect home record.
