The Mizzou men’s basketball team leaves their game against Texas A&M this Tuesday with yet another loss, this time losing 68-51, putting the Tigers at 10-12 on the year.

After a rough first half, the Tigers were led by guard Javon Pickett who made 7 straight points and drew a number of fouls before getting his 4th foul of the game and getting sent straight to the bench. This run put the team just one point behind the Aggies, but it wasn’t enough and the Aggies pulled away once more and sealed the game. No Tiger had double-digit points, but Forward Mitchell Smith came close with 9 points and also led the team with 11 rebounds.

However, the big problem came in shooting efficiency as Mizzou shot just 30.6% from the field and 25.9% from three. This has been the biggest issue for the Tigers all year, as they rank near the top of the SEC in defensive statistics and have shot incredibly well from the free-throw line.

The game wasn’t all bad though, as captain Jeremiah Tilmon Jr made his return from injury after missing 8 games due to a stress fracture. However, Tilmon was limited by Head Coach Cuonzo Martin as he only had 12 minutes the entire game.
The Tigers come back to Columbia this Saturday for their rivalry match up with the Arkansas Razorbacks in their Rally for Rhyan game.
