The Mizzou volleyball team blows Tennessee out with a 3-1 victory at Hearnes Center.

Mizzou’s offense was unstoppable with four players having a 10-plus kill day for the second straight match in a row. The tigers celebrated one of their top offensive performances in over a month with an impressive .413 hitting clip. This placed their win at Mizzou’s sixth match of hitting in volleyball history. The tigers also swept Tennessee off their feet with an outstanding blocking showout and defensive battle. Junior Leketor Member-Meneh had herself a day with a .619 hitting percentage which broke her previous personal record of .615. Similarly, junior Tyanna Omazic also recorded her seventh .500 plus hitting percentage match of the season. Another junior that played extremely well was Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana with 12-plus kills in three-straight contests. Mizzou brought their A-game against Tennessee and is sitting steady in the No. 25 spot.

Next up, the Tigers have yet another road/home split weekend. Starting away against Arkansas on October 25, and then traveling back home to face Mississippi State on October 27 at Hearnes Center. The Tigers hope to keep climbing up the rankings with their continuous impressive numbers that they put up week after week.
