Mizzou Girls’ Soccer (7-10-1, 1-8-1 SEC) ended their season with a disappointing senior night loss at the hands of the Mississippi State Bulldogs (8-7-3, 3-4-3 SEC). The first half saw the Bulldogs leading 3-1 with sophomore forward Julissa Cisneros accounting for the only Mizzou goal coming from an assist from Sarah Luebbert, marking Cisneros 10th goal of the season. That tenth goal marked the first time that a Mizzou player scored ten goals in a season since Sarah Luebbert in 2016. The second half came with more defensive intensity as both sides only allowed one goal each, the Mizzou goal again coming at the hands of Julissa Cisneros off of a cross from Freshman forward Janna Singleton that Cisneros was able to head in. This goal put the match at its final score of 4-2, eliminating Mizzou from SEC tournament contention.
