Vagina Monologues Hit Jesse Auditorium

The Vagina Monologues were held on Saturday February 16 in Jesse Hall Auditorium.

The Vagina Monolgues discussed different issues and raised awareness about the female body. They rose awareness about violence and female empowerment.  The women interviewed spoke of their experiences and their reflections; these interviews made a huge impact throughout the performances.

The Vagina Monologues were translated into these monologues. The stories were chosen from all over the world.  It was fascinating to see the diversity between stories based on culture, religion, and regions.

The Vagina Monologues were also interpreted in American Sign Language. The interpreters stood on stage and preformed just as the actors did, capturing every piece of attitude and facial expression.

The was a performance loved by all who attended.
