The Tiger women held nothing back Monday night when they dominated Quincy University in a 97-54 exhibition victory.

The senior Stock twins, Maddie and Morgan, lit up the scoreboard with a combined 32 points and nine 3-pointers. With the Stock sisters’ shooting ability accompanied by the team’s 15 steals and 20 assists, the Tigers left the Quincy Lady Hawks with no chance Monday.

The Tigers outscored Quincy in the paint, 40-14, and in bench points, 62-12. Maddie Stock hit a game-high 17 points, complemented by five 3-pointers. On the flip side, Morgan Stock helped her sister by adding 15 points, which included four triples. Freshman Sophie Cunningham held her own as she contributed 15 points and three steals.

Juniors Lianna Doty and Jordan Frericks and sophomore Bri Porter each had solid performances as well. Doty made her first appearance since last year due to an injury and bounced back with 13 points on 4-for-5 shooting. Frericks broke her game-high record with eight rebounds and four steals. Porter attacked on defense with six rebounds and four steals.

Overall, Mizzou shot 60 percent from the floor, 52 percent from 3-point range and 69 percent from the foul line.

The Tiger women were on fire when it came to defense limiting the Lady Hawks to a 35 percent shooting mark. Anika Webster had 15 points and Kara Gerbus added 14 points to lead Quincy.

Regular season begins Friday, Nov. 13, at Missouri State. Tipoff begins at 7:05 p.m. with live coverage on ESPN3.
